These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pacific West Life Online PDF Editor platform, website, and all related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Pacific West Life Inc. ("Pacific West Life," "we," "us," or "our"), a corporation registered in the State of California, United States.
By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@pacificwestlife.com.
The Service is available in three tiers: Free, Professional, and Enterprise. Features and usage limits vary by plan as described on our Pricing page.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. (PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant). Prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting our support team.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

The Service, including its design, software, algorithms, branding, trademarks, and content, is the exclusive property of Pacific West Life Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service solely for its intended purpose.
You retain full ownership of all documents and content you upload to the Service. We do not claim any rights to your content. As detailed in our Privacy Policy, documents are processed in encrypted containers and permanently deleted within 60 minutes.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described therein, including 256-bit AES encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, and our zero document retention policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pacific West Life Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Pacific West Life in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pacific West Life Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive (including indemnification, limitation of liability, and governing law).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect via email or a prominent notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
